For my first blog, answering two questions is my number one priority. As for the first question, I was told to choose a picture that had a strong showing of contour lines that appealed to me. When I saw this face I really liked the pop effect it had showing off each section of the face and giving it some real depth, almost showing the muscles of the face as opposed to the skin. I also enjoy the blue coloring on the right and in the shading.
My second question asks about how I've liked college so far, it being only the start of my third week here. The people here although slightly on the introverted, are all generally nice. A lot of the other people from the campus are very friendly and outgoing, I tend to make friends with them more. The food is pretty good, despite being unhealthy but that is of course to be expected. Upon switching out of my computer major, I've become greatly more inclined to stay at RIT after having some doubts from the first week. The drawing for non majors class is treated as if the students are in an actual Drawing class. It's the best class I currently have making me feel at home, and doing something I enjoy.
I'll be updating this blog close to daily with just random tidbits of information and other opinions or ideas I have over the course of a day.
